Fallen road mend is causing significant house vibration

A few years ago the road outside our house (64 West Street) was dug right across to repair a water supply pipe. This year, a depression has developed in the repair, such that almost every time a truck passes there is excess impact noise and distinct vibration in the fabric of the house. Heavily laden trucks produce even more noise and vibration. Also, quite often now cars and vans hit the same depression, causing excess noise. This needs to be remedied quickly, the road surface smoothed so that the fabric of our house does not deteriorate.
