Given the benches along the sea front were painted and some of the shelters, it is noticeable that those by the roundabout haven’t be addressed and some of those towards Hope Road are looking shabby as the rust has re-appeared. Surely, with this location being the ‘picture frame’ for the town it is not a good advert, and add that to the shabby state of the railings leading from the beach to the Chine Pub, which has just re- opened and deserves its efforts to be complemented by acceptable street furniture etc.
