Overgrown Hedge

Reported via desktop in the Hedge Untrimmed category by Mark Newton at 10:25, Tuesday

Sent to Island Roads 23 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16303893.

The hedge continues to be overgrown and not attended to. The height is significantly lower the 2.4 meters above the path (Council minimum policy) resulting in pedestrians walking in the road, instead of the path (the path has also become very slippery with fallen rotting leaf litter due to the underuse). As this path is on a bend, it is dangerous for walkers to be using the road and so a significant risk to vehicles and pedestrians. It's only a matter of time till there is an accident. Please can the whole hedge be significantly cut back to make this pavement usable again and remove the danger.
