Pavement damage

We live at 8 Westfield Park, Ryde. One of your representatives recently informed us that we were believed to be responsible for damage to the curb stones bordering the road outside our property. This is not the case — numerous tradespeople and delivery vehicles regularly park along this edge.

The curb has now been repaired twice, and both times the workmanship has been extremely poor. The most recent repair, completed today, looks unsightly and is not structurally sound — I can physically move the stones with my foot. It’s clear that as soon as a vehicle comes into contact with them, they will fail again.

This presents a safety hazard, particularly as my sons often ride their bikes in this area. The curb stones require a proper, durable repair to ensure safety and prevent further deterioration.

Please arrange for a qualified team to assess and carry out a suitable, lasting repair.
