Brambles overgrowing bus stop

We own the field that is on the corner of Limerstone Road and Short/Muggleton Lane. We have had complaints that we are not keeping the bus stop on the verge near our land free of brambles but our deeds suggest this is a council/Island Road responsibility and not ours. We do not have power at the field to do this. The hedgerow is on the road side and not on our side of our boundary.
