Lights malfunction

I was traveling towards Ryde on West Street, the other car was traveling up from Green Street and drove into the back of my car. I had stopped at the red light and then proceeded when the light changed. The first thing that was brought to my attention by a pedestrian was that this had happened last week due to the lights malfunctioning! The driver of the other car had also mentioned that this intersection wasn’t safe.
