Worn Street Marking

Reported via mobile in the Attachment Distract/Obstruct category by Cllr Ian Ward at 20:28, Tue 3 December 2024

Sent to Island Roads 11 hours, 51 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16281606.

Recently most of the various white line marking around central Sandown were repainted. A resident pointed out to me that an important direction sign had been missed. It is a ‘No Left Turn’ road surface sign at the junction of Melville St, the High St and Beachfield Road. It is a common occurrence that a car coming down Melville St will turn left into the High St. Thus going the wrong way into traffic coming along the one-way High St.
