Slippery surface on footpath

Reported via mobile in the Footway Flood Hazardous category anonymously at 17:37, Thursday 28 November 2024

Sent to Island Roads 27 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16281307.

The footpath off Halberry Lane, Newport PO30 2ER which leads to Mews Lane has obviously flooded due to the heavy rain on Tuesday night and it has left mud and debris along the path. It is very slippery on the slope and path leading from Halberry Lane. I have a young dog who cannot be let off his lead who was pulling me down the slope and I slipped and nearly ended up on my backside. Please can the footpath be cleaned and possibly washed off?
