Due to Road Closure still in place access along Southgrove to reach Macrocarpa Road has become increasingly difficult and dangerous due to the public parking both sides of the narrow carriageway and on double yellow lines. It is doubtful that an emergency vehicle could access Macrocarpa. Even the refuse collection has changed to Rural so that a smaller truck can collect and turn round. Is there any chance parking could be restricted to one side only for the remaining term of the road closure however long that might be ?

The current Road Closure has been in force since early this year apparently due to a possible unsafe section of stone wall between Soughgrove and Macrocarpa.
