Railings/bollarss required to safeguard pedestrians from turning buses

Reported via mobile in the Damaged Kerb/Aco/Channel Block category anonymously at 22:06, Thursday 29 August 2024

Sent to Island Roads 12 hours, 27 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16275353.

The pavement opposite Newport bus station exit is almost continuously overrun by busses turning right towards coppins bridge. Any pedestrian using the edge of the public pavement is in grave risk of being hit by all these buses as they ALL go over the pavement with the corner of their vehicles. Please install railings or bollards along this pavement edge before someone is hurt again.
