Road Re-surfacing, Castle Hill
Reported via desktop in the Rough/Uneven or Surface Issue category anonymously at 17:48, Mon 29 July 2024
Sent to Island Roads 11 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16273158.
As part of the Island Roads resurfacing project, which was awarded to Island Roads several years ago, Castle Hill remains in a poor state of repair despite being promised on numerous occasions that the road would be resurfaced. The top end of Castle Hill was resurfaced several years ago, and we, as residents have previously received letters stating that we would also benefit from the residential section of Castle Hill to a new road surface. We are still waiting for this to happen. It was part of the Island Roads contract that ALL roads would be resurfaced. Castle Hill has now become like an unadopted highway as it is in a terrible state with regular pot holes appearing which are just 'patch repaired' then appear again and again after the repair has been completed. Please give this your attention and provide Castle Hill with the new road surface that we, as tax payers are entitled to. Thank you
