Water fails to drain away in this area of the shared use path between Shanklin and Wroxall. After periods of heavy rain it remains wet and muddy for weeks and in winter it freezes so becomes particularly hazardous. This has been a problem for several years, please can you investigate the cause and ensure a long term solution is implemented rather than a quick fix.
