Hedge bordering public footpath overgrown

The hedge is overlapping the footpath with long thick thorny bramble tendrils at eye height. When a cyclist passed me (pedestrian) today, a bramble caught his face.

Needs cutting back as soon as possible as this footpath is busy with adults and children (latter from Bay School close by) most of the day.

Footpath runs from Station Approach, Sandown to Golf Links Road.
