Unprotected building works on side of public road.

Sent to Island Roads 2 hours, 4 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16271279.
Works are being carried out on this corner to rebuild a post that’s been knocked down. The builders have no barrier / protection for people passing yet it’s on the entrance to the public carpark. They are chopping bricks and debris is going everywhere and is a danger to passes by. I witness an elderly lady confused on where she should walk safely. Surely these works should have safety barriers or some protection? These works only started yesterday but I’d consider it a risk to general health & safety.
