Since Weston School hasn’t been in use there has been no maintenance to the verge on Weston Road which has reduced the width of the on road parking. The brambles are causing damage to cars so they are having to be parked further into the road which is reducing the width of the road. I have had one car damaged by someone driving too close (person responsible did not leave details) costing £400 to be repaired. Bramble damage has also reduced the price of the car on returning it at end of the lease period. The trees have grown up into the power cables which are frequently battered in high winds. The branches also now extend out into the road and over the cars where the pigeon waste causes further damage to the car roofs. Please could the area be cut right back as it was regularly in the past? The area is very overgrown and impacting the road use for people who bring their children to the other nearby school each day. Thank you.
