Unclear Signage

Sent to Island Roads 48 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16268056.

The direction sign pointing towards Newport is not clear enough. Visitors coming from Thorness seem to forget how they got there. The direction to Newport is straight ahead, but the road markings encourage people to turn right. There is a sign, but it is parallel to the road and apparently invisible! I regularly have people using my driveway to turn round. Can a new sign be placed somewhere to make it clear which road our visitors need?
