Pothole around a drain cover

There is a very deep/large pothole around a drain outside the Premier Shop on The Broadway in Sandown (PO36 9BZ). When driving over this (at the speed limit) on 21.04.24 around 6.30 pm I heard a very loud bang, I thought my tire had popped, but upon inspection, the suspension spring has snapped, as a result of driving over the pothole surrounding the drain. I have had no problem with my suspension until now. When taking photos another car also went over, making a very loud sound. This needs to be sorted before more and more people have expensive issues occur to their cars.
