Large sunken area of carriageway. In-between boundary of 'Long View' and 'Sweet Briars'.

Reported via mobile in the Rough/Uneven or Surface Issue category by Steve Batts at 14:47, Mon 20 November 2023

Sent to Island Roads 3 hours, 25 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16255554.

1.5m x 1.2m depression/sunken area of carriageway. Every vehicle which drives in the direction of Freshwater Bay drops their nearside wheels into this dip and could damage their suspension/bodywork doing so. When the Double decker buses and large HGV's drive through it, it shakes the house foundations! It's by the boundary area of 'Long View' and 'Sweet Briars'.

  • 7 weeks since a District Steward raised a job for a road repair patch to be done and nothing has been done since. It continues to get worse with buses and other HGV's hitting it.
