Road is higher than the footpath drop curb following resurfacing works
Reported via mobile in the Rough/Uneven or Surface Issue category by Richard Hill at 22:57, Sun 5 November 2023
Sent to Island Roads 19 hours, 16 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16254278.
Following the resurfacing works of the man. Road, this part of the road has been raised higher than the foot path and drop kerb. This results in allowing flood water from the highway to flow down into residential driveways and into properties. The level between the road substraight and kerb water line is not to standard and is actually flush.
I was also visited by an Isle of Wight council flood inspector who pointed this out and highlighted the road and kerb is not to standard following the re re surface of the road.
