Disabled drop kerb one side of crossing NOTHING the other side???WTA

Reported via mobile in the Damaged Kerb/Aco/Channel Block category anonymously at 17:17, Wednesday 24 May 2023

Sent to Island Roads 37 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16242462.

It's only when you're unfortunate enough to be disabled, do you realise that the people planning access are not. There is a drop kerb for disabled at one part of the path adjoining Sandpath onto the Milgrove Estate. The other side of the road you cross to, there is nothing. I mean NOTHING!?? for a wheelchair to be able to mount. I have to go into the road, into oncoming traffic, for at least 80ft, before I can remount a pavement. I can't believe this was actually left like this??
