The cover has sunk or is misfitting and makes a loud, disturbing thumping every time a vehicle passes over. This must be causing further damage, apart from the difficulty of living with the penetrating noise for those close by. It's been a persistent problem for a while now but particularly noisy with Wightfibre causing a single carriageway. I consider it "urgent" but have been unable to reach anyone after holding for an hour on the phone earlier in the week.
