Manhole outside Number 77

Sent to Island Roads 17 hours, 15 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16229049.

The manhole cover rattles when vehicles run over it. Parts of the house shake if a large vehicle passes over it. Please note that Southern Water re-laid this manhole, at your request, on 28th October last year (the second attempt) to cure the same problem. It would appear that even more detailed work is required to permanently cure this reoccurring issue.

  • With reference to Enquiry ref: 16229049. I would be grateful if you would give me an update to this issue which changed from Under investigation to Open on the 31st October. Have you a date yet for the required corrective work to be undertaken?

  • With reference to Enquiry ref: 16229049 It is now over a month since I requested an update on this and I do not appear to have received any response which I consider unacceptable. Would you please with a matter of urgency give me a date for the remedial work to be undertaken.
