Overhanging hedge/ivy at head height
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation Encroachment category anonymously at 17:21, Wed 27 July 2022
Sent to Island Roads 14 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16223817.
The high level hedge is overhanging the pavement with branches at eye level, potentially causing injury. It is a busy stretch of pavement and especially during the summer season with tourists using this as a route to the beach. The overhanging hedge means that it is difficult for two people to pass on the pavement and may have to step out into the main road and this will become worse the longer it is left uncut. It needs to be cut back flat to the wall.
