Reported via mobile in the Veg Impeding FW/CW category by Lady Kate Hobart at 18:40, Thu 7 July 2022
Sent to Island Roads 13 hours, 53 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16222651.
The tree is situated on the fence line of Gatcombe Park woodland and has a thick large branch crossing the Gatcombe village road and resting on a tree on the opposite side. With the prevalence of Ash die back this is a dangerous and undesirable situation. There have been a number of trees from this ill managed woodland falling across the roads (Whitcombe/chillerton main road and Gatcombe village Road) this matter needs investigation and urgent attention.
