We live at 11 Steephill Road, Shanklin, PO376AB. This road is in a conservation area. Over the past couple of years the weeds have been left to grow up on the pavement and kerbside making it all look very unsightly and not becoming of a conservation area. We keep our frontage clear of weeds but do not feel we should deal with the entire road. It is starting to look like a country lane! I feel embarrassed when visitors to the island walk up Steephill Road. Are you able to tell me if weeds are to be controlled on this road and many other roads on our beautiful island?
