I have some concerns about the pedestrian crossing on Forest Road by the St Mary's junction. When the lights change to red to allow pedestrians to cross, the next set of lights immediately behind it often remain green. I am concerned that this is causing confusion with drivers as on three occasions this year alone I've have narrowly avoided being run over at night by cars flying through the red light and carrying on through the green one, even though I am half way over the crossing. I feel this would be easily resolved by adjusting the sequence so the pedestrian crossing only activates when the lights behind it are also set to red.
