Double yellow lines needed on corner to prevent accidents.

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings Missing/Faded category anonymously at 12:23, Thursday 13 January 2022

Sent to Island Roads 18 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16212447.

Vehicles keep on parking too close to the junction where Sandcroft Avenue meets Quarry Road. This makes it very difficult/impossible for drivers to pull in safely at the bottom of Sandcroft Avenue and check for traffic coming along Quarry Road. It also makes it very difficult for larger vehicles to enter/exit Sandcroft Avenue. I have seen several near misses. I spoke to the parking enforcement department at the Isle of Wight Council and they are unable to do anything because there aren't any double yellow lines. They suggested I contact Island Roads.
