Overgrown vegetation impeding street lighting
Reported via desktop in the Streetlight Obscured by Veg category anonymously at 17:44, Sat 1 January 2022
Sent to Island Roads 28 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16211765.
There are two street lamps located opposite number 18 Church Road Shanklin, PO37 6NU. The overall illumination of both lamps are being seriously effected by overgrown vegetation. In essence the beam(s) created by the LED light bulbs are severely reducing the effectiveness of lighting up part of the footway below.
To improve street lighting in that immediate area for drivers, riders and pedestrians during the hours of darkness the overgrown vegetation at the top of both lamp posts needs to be removed as a matter of some urgency.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Happy New Year, keep up all the great work!
