Dangerous signage of pedestrian safety

Reported via desktop in the Traffic Signal Timing (perm) category anonymously at 10:18, Mon 22 November 2021

Sent to Island Roads 21 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16210074.

Approaching this crossing from upper high St the green Man facing you declares it is safe to cross st John's road when, in fact, you are likely to get run over if you attempt it! The green/red man sign needs repositioning so it is not visible from upper high St. I narrowly missed an accident on two occasions when I first moved back to the Island, and witnessed another near miss last week. I spoke to a police officer about it a few weeks ago and he also thought it dangerous, and he said he would report it.it needs action.
