Good morning I phoned some time ago and asked about improvements to the junction of lower Bettesworth road and Bettesworth road as cars can park right up to the junction and also cars park opposite the junction and pulling out from lower Bettesworth road into Bettesworth you are unable to see traffic coming from the left i have over the past few years had some near accidents when pulling out ,can you please tell me why there is no double yellow lines to aid with line of sight which i believe to be 11 metres ,you told me some years ago that someone was going to look at this problem and get back to me ,you know about the problems with visibility at this junction since may 2017 as your highway engineer made comments in a planning application p/00244/18 ,please can you tell me when can look again at this junction as it is a road safety issue and it is not far from the local school and it is being being ignored ,island roads have had 4 years since the planning application to make improvements the road has been there since 1865 and i think its the only junction in Bettesworth road that has no double yellow lines ,i will wait with anticipation for your views and reply ,kind regards
