Since golden hill fort has recently had a facelift it’s dramatically increased footfall to the area and this has caused a serious problem with the dog bin overflowing in the car park as this is the only bin on-site, there’s another dog bin I use at the entrance to the industrial estate on the main road but clearly nobody knows about this bin as it’s alway relatively empty, this really needs sorting out as it’s a problem for the environment and the local wildlife as these bags get strewn around the area and I suspect it’s stopping some from even bothering to pick up after their dog (i’m seeing more left waste than usual) maybe not wanting to add to the pile on the ground! I’ve noticed this for at least 6 months now, and will only get much worse in the summer with even more visitors to the area.
