Sunken manhole is damaged and has sharp edge, could possibly damage tyres. Surrounding road surface is damaged/missing and exposing layers beneath tarmac. Lorries and buses hitting the sunken cover are causing substantial vibration to surrounding houses. This damage has been getting worse over the last few months over winter. But now with more diverted heavy lorries and buses it is getting more of a problem for surrounding resistance.
