Water coming out of manhole cover causing 4 days of ice in the gutter and almost two metres into the road causing cyclists to ride two metres from the curb.

"New updates on Drain blocked, water coming out of the manhole cover up hill of point of blockage. It has been like this for over three years and has been previously reported. It is fast approaching ice on road season and the problem will again be very relevant. Two years ago a sign, "Groundwater" appeared but groundwater is a separate issue unrelated to overland/drains flow.

State changed to: Closed"

This was the response from "action" taken on Christmas Eve. Today is the fourth day where ice has remained all day and six of the last fourteen there has been ice caused by this blocked drain. A dozen empty sandbags is not a cure, unblocking the drain and ensuring that the drain water flows underground is.
