Possible dangerous structures built at road edge Merstone lane

Reported via mobile in the Structure Issue category anonymously at 19:06, Thursday 21 January 2021

Sent to Island Roads 13 hours, 52 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16189895.

6 stone filled gabion baskets at intervals if a couple of metre's have appeared dug into verge/bank out side a cottage in Merstone lane. Although these are probably on privately owned land, my concern is that they are right on the road edge and approximately 2 feet high on a narrow blind bend. This is often where you will meet a double decker bus or large van , where you have to pull in or back up. With these baskets there it forces vehicles to stay out from the verge reducing visibility and making the bend more dangerous. Also cyclists or motorbikes could quite easily injure themselves seriously if they were to hit these. Please can someone investigate my concerns.
