Every time we have some heavy rain, this section of road, southwest of Newington House on the bend, becomes flooded, the water does not go anywhere and acts like a bowl.

There is gullies along there but they don’t seem to go anywhere, maybe a cut in the verge to allow the water to escape. Or some planned works at a later date to prevent it happening?

The water clears eventually, but it is a recurring theme
