Overgrown Hedge causing obstruction at Junction

Reported in the Tree Branches Overhanging category anonymously at 14:32, Mon 10 August 2020

Sent to Island Roads 3 hours, 40 minutes later. Enquiry ref: 16178833.

The hedge immediately on the left as you turn into Palmers road is overgrown and several branches are sticking into the road. This causes you to have to stop immediately after turning into the road to allow oncoming traffic passing parked cars to approach the junction. This has been reported since June but the problemis getting worse and there is no sign of the hedge being cut back. Having to stop so close into the junction because of this obstruction causes me to feel unsafe and fearful of being struck from behind by another car turning into the junction. Please could action be taken to cut this hedgerow back so that it is not protruding into the carriageway.
