Road closure a mess

The road closure at the landslide at Belgrave Road in Ventnor is shocking. The signage is not on the junction, its about 50ft into the junction and its been driven over several times. Forever seeing people turn into the junction to then see the water barriers then reverse back onto the main road.
Also, your signage says 'Emergency Closure, find alternative route' - Can this not be replaced to Road Closed and a signed Diversion route?
Seems to be it is pure laziness.
Also, at the other end of the road closure, you have access to frontage, and another sign that is not readable, and damaged, but you have not removed the No Entry signs, so surely this means you cannot pass through the now two-way section of road? Surely they should have been removed as they are conflicting.
It seems as if the road was closed, then abandoned. There seems to be no regular, if any, maintenance on this closure. Least with Undercliff when that was shut there was useful signage installed to direct you to the other end, without losing potential trade for businesses along Belgrave Road and also access to Ventnor Esplanade down Bath Road.
With businesses starting to reopen now, think it would be best to make the closure look more appealing and informative.
