Hedges need cutting back for the extra traffic with the road works

Given that Newchurch, Winford Road to the Shute, is going to be closed for nearly 6 months (5 October 2026 to early April 2027) for Southern Water road works to replace old pipes, it would have been really nice if Island Roads could have cut back the hedges on the route, and the adjoining lanes –they are narrow at the best of times and are now going to be extra busy.
